What to expect

Is Teeth Whitening safe?

Yes, our teeth whitening system is completely safe and non-invasive. It’s designed to protect your enamel and lower sensitivity.

How white will my teeth get?

You can expect your teeth to be 2-6 shades lighter. A lot of factors determine how white your teeth will become, including genetics.

Can you whiten over caps, crowns and veneers?

You can put gel overtop of these however they will whiten very little if at all. The gel will not harm them.

How does your product compare to store bought product?

Professional treatments are more effective as they have a higher concentration of peroxide.

Can I get the same results at a dental office?

Surface stains and mild discoloration are easily treated in a spa setting as they are in a dental setting but at a much more affordable price.

How long before I can eat or drink after my treatment?

You may drink only water 1 hour after whitening. Avoid any staining foods for 24 hours.

How long will my results last?

Results vary based on genetics and lifestyle. Everyone will require a follow-up session every 6-12 months. All whitening treatments require aftercare to prevent staining. It is recommended to purchase the aftercare products to prevent re-staining and increase the longevity of your whitening treatment.

                Are there any side effects?

Some people may feel some tingling, get a white gum line or mild sensitivity. These are normal and will disappear after the treatment.

What if my teeth are stained from medication? (i.e. Tetracycline)

This unfortunately cannot be whitened. It is not a stain; it is the tooth itself and cannot be whitened.

What is the difference between Hydrogen and Carbamide Peroxide?

Hydrogen peroxide is a higher concentration used in a short amount of time. Carbamide Peroxide is a lower concentration and used for longer periods of time as it takes longer to break down and work effectively. It releases Hydrogen Peroxide which helps with bleaching, and Urea which stabilizes and helps it to release slowly.
