Neuromodular Treatments (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin)

At Body Beautiful Day Spa, we offer neuromodulator treatments, including Botox, Dysport & Xeomin, administered by our experienced registered nurse. These injectable treatments temporarily relax facial muscles to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, providing a smoother, more youthful appearance. Before any treatment, our nurse conducts a personalized consultation to develop a customized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Neuromodulators are ideal for targeting areas like forehead lines, crow’s feet, and frown lines, with results typically lasting several months. Trust our skilled team to deliver safe, effective, and natural-looking results.

What to expect

Are neuromodulator treatments right for me?
Typically, neuromodular treatments (wrinkle injections) are ideal for healthy individuals seeking to reduce or prevent fine lines and wrinkles through a non-invasive procedure. The process is so quick that you can even have it done during your lunch break.
When performed correctly, cosmetic injections deliver natural-looking results that are virtually undetectable.

During your consultation, we’ll review your medical history, discuss your aesthetic goals, and assess the condition of your wrinkles to determine if cosmetic injections are the right choice for you.

When will I see results and how long do the affects of a treatment last?

The effects of a treatment typically last between 3 to 4 months from the date of treatment. As the body gradually metabolizes the product, muscle movement in the treated area will slowly return. To extend the duration of your results, you can choose to follow a consistent treatment plan as recommended by your nurse injector, ensuring longer-lasting results.

Is the treatment safe? What are the side effects?

Yes, Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all approved by both the FDA and Health Canada.

Side effects from treatment may include bruising, swelling, redness, or tenderness around the injection site. These effects are temporary and typically resolve on their own within a few days to a week.

By following the pre- and post-care instructions provided and ensuring the treatment is administered correctly by the injector, the risk of adverse effects can be significantly minimized.

How many units do I need? What is the cost?

The amount of neuromodulators required, and therefore the cost, will vary for each individual. Factors influencing this include the specific area being treated, the strength of the individual’s muscles, the desired outcome, and the number of prior treatments.

We recommend booking a complimentary consultation with our nurse injector to receive an accurate estimate for your treatment.

What neuromodulator products do you use?

Botox is a well-known brand name in the world of cosmetic injections and is often priced higher than alternative brands due to its strong reputation and widespread recognition. In addition to Botox, we also offer Dysport and Xeomin, which provide similar results at a more affordable price point, giving you effective options to suit your preferences and budget.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Please refrain from consuming alcohol and caffeine as they both have blood-thinning effects, and it’s important to avoid them within 12 hours before your scheduled appointment. Additionally, please refrain from wearing makeup prior to any injections to minimize the risk of infection. Your healthcare provider will cleanse your skin using alcohol or an antiseptic.

              Dermal Fillers

              Lip Filler / Lip Augmentation

At Body Beautiful Day Spa, we offer face and lip dermal fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in your skin known for its ability to retain moisture and enhance skin softness. These fillers help restore volume, smooth fine lines, and improve facial contours, while also aiding in skin repair. The result is a rejuvenated appearance that looks and feels natural. Whether you’re looking to plump lips, reduce wrinkles, or enhance your facial features, our experienced professionals will tailor your treatment to your specific goals in a welcoming and relaxing environment.

              What to expect

What is the procedure for face and lip filler?

Your session begins with a thorough consultation to ensure the most suitable product for achieving your desired outcome. Following your consult, a local anesthetic is applied, and a fine needle is used to strategically administer the product, ensuring precise control over volume. The injections are gradually administered over a series of appointments until your desired results are attained. Each treatment typically lasts for about 30-45 minutes.

Are face and lip fillers right for me?
Dermal fillers offer a fantastic solution for individuals looking to rejuvenate their appearance by replenishing volume, addressing facial asymmetry, and restoring overall facial harmony. These versatile treatments can be applied to various areas, such as under the eyes, fine lines, cheeks, jawline, naso-labial folds, lips, and temples.
When will I see results and how long do the affects of a treatment last?

Results can be seen immediately after your treatment and can last from 6-12 months. There may be some swelling and bruising after your treatment. Don’t panic — these side effects are normal and should subside within a week.

Is the treatment safe? What are the side effects?

Yes, the dermal filler brands and products we use are both FDA and Health Canada approved.

Mild swelling, redness and bruising is commonly seen after filler injections and may take 1 to 2 weeks to fully subside.

As long as the pre and post care instructions are followed by the client and the treatment is properly administered by the injector, the likelihood of adverse effects are minimized.

How much dermal filler will I need? What is the cost?

The amount of dermal filler needed, and therefore the cost, will vary for each individual. Factors influencing this include the specific area being treated, the strength of the individual’s muscles, the desired outcome, and the number of prior treatments.

We recommend booking a complimentary consultation with our nurse injector to receive an accurate estimate for your treatment.
